Bebop Bottle Shop
Bebop Bottle Shop is a neighborhood wine shop & tasting bar. Sourcing only from small conscientious producers, making minimal intervention wine with responsible farming practices, Bebop looks to showcase the folks turning the tide on conventional practices while producing something beautiful (because the two are inextricably interlinked).
They look to provide endless affordable ways to explore—for wine lovers and the curious alike—with new wines on their shelves every week, a daily-changing by-the-glass menu, and now, a monthly wine club to enjoy at home!
If you are looking for a low key place to sit and sip, learn about wines, relax with friends, and enjoy conversations about wine and travel, Bebop is the place you want. They offer select wines by the glass, have a full schedule of tasting sessions, and love giving recommendations for bottles to purchase.
Along with wines, they carry a selection of NA drinks and often host artists, musicians, and pop-up events. Their space is also available to rent for private parties. They are currently offering a series of wine classes on every other Tuesday evening – read more below and see our calendar for upcoming sessions.
Parking
There are 2 loading spots available at the the corner of Haywood Road and Dunwell Avenue for quick pickups.
Street parking is free along Haywood Road and neighborhood streets.
There are two nearby low cost hourly parking lots, 743 Haywood Road and 718 Haywood Road.
The World of Wine
New this year, Bebop is offering a series of wine classes. This 8-part series, held every other Tuesday at 6:30PM, begins September 15, 2026. They will cover a broad view of the wine world through classes focused on the great wine growing countries of the world through tasting and conversation. They’ll discuss the history, geography, traditions, growing regions, grape varieties, winemakers, and more that make each place unique, while tasting many great bottles. Each class will include 12-20 bottles to taste and discuss.
Classes can be purchased for individual dates at $30 per person, or as a 4-class package for $100 per person.
