Rabbit Hole is the bakery for Sunny Point Café. They bake the biscuits and breads served in the restaurant and have a full case of delicious items to choose from daily. Select from seasonal muffins, tarts, and cheesecake, cookies, brownies, slices of peach poundcake, cupcakes, coffee cake, croissants, cinnamon rolls, mini quiches, savory pinwheels, and more. They even have housemade dog biscuits.
Located directly across the parking lot from the restaurant, Rabbit Hole has a covered deck overlooking the Sunny Point Garden with multiple large share tables. This space is an ideal location to enjoy a beverage and freshly baked goods either as you wait for a table at the cafe or as a destination itself. This space is also available to rent for private parties with full catering available.
Rabbit Hole serves the same locally roasted drip coffee as Sunny Point and has a full range of espresso offering as well as a full menu of cocktails – most notably they do indeed serve the cafe’s famous mega-mosa and bloody mary.
With both sweet and savory items on the menu, often with a few vegan options to choose from, Rabbit Hole is an excellent place to kick back with friends and family. (Gluten-less ingredient items are also on the menu, but as they do not have a dedicated area to prepare these they are not recommended for folks with high sensitivity to gluten.)
Inside seating is best for small groups or singles to sit where they are surrounded by a fairly extensive gift shop area showcasing goods and items for cooks, food lovers, and gardeners. It is a treat to shop for local gift here.
We’d be remiss if we didn’t also note that along with catering, Rabbit Hole is an outstanding place to order whole cakes for your celebrations. They can make cakes from 6″ layered cakes up to half-sheet single layer cakes for larger gatherings. Their offerings include really excellent vegan cakes. See their website for options and ordering.
