Welcome to year 14 of our favorite family-friendly haunting tradition. (Note: This event is also great for those of us without kids who still love the magic of Halloween and enjoy a bit of campy, and puny, fun.)
The Haunted Trail by Asheville Plays! offers so much more than an amazing live action trail. They craft an exciting night for families with kids complete with pirates, an escape room, glow zone, monster-sized games and tasty eats & drinks! They have a Lil’ Ghouls area for the smallest members of your family. AND the 20 scene life action trail with over 50 actors is super fun – not scary.

Tickets: $1 from each ticket is donated to Manna Foodbank
There are two types of tickets:
• The Haunted Trail stand alone ticket $20 for ages 4 and up
• The Haunted Trail combined with Treetops Adventure Park Aerial Glow Trail $48 for ages 4 and up
Online tickets available until 6pm the evening you are attending.
In-person tickets are available at the door till 8:45pm (Last entrance to The Trail is at 8:55pm.)
Timeline/Schedule:
6pm – Doors and festival open
Pirates Cove: 10 minute escape room, live mermaid, Captain’s Challenges, and obstacle course
Food and drink available (including adult beverages in the Spookeasy)
Balloon art & face painting
Bonfire & S’mores
Gem Mine activity
Monster sized games

6:30pm – Sweet Peek Tour
Meet at the Sweet Peek Tour sign at the front of Pirates Cove
This is a guided tour of the Trail before it gets dark and before there are actors in the scenes
We offer this opportunity to anyone who might be scared and nervous
You are welcome to get in line for the full experience if you feel comfortable
At Dark near 7:00pm (Depends on the time of month) – The Haunted Trail Opens!!
