December 13: Multiple Holiday Pop Up Shopping Options

Pop Up Shops are nothing new to Haywood Road and West Asheville, but this year on Sunday, December 13 there are multiple options all within walking distance. The weather is predicted to be sunny and in the 60s so no excuses, get on out and show some love to our local artists, crafters and makers. #shopwavl #shoponhaywood

Mr. Fred’s Fair stresses a simple approach. Expect to find a friendly portion of prints, paintings, papers, pottery and plants, glass and mirror, clay and clothing, soaps, jewelry and other things, all offered at a direct rate with proceeds going entirely to the hands that made them.

Featuring the work of Lauren Adams, Julie Armbruster, Mary Claire Becker, Sarah Becker Designs, Bella & Oliver Soap Co., Clare Beumer, Sara Brooks, Gus Cutty, Hannah Dansie, Maxx Feist, Andy Herod, Kristyn Larsen, Kimberly Masters, Brigitte Mueller, Priya Ray, Nathanael Roney, The Schmidts, Dennis Smith, Joshua Spiceland, Chris Topher, With The Wind Vintage, Madalyn Wofford, Woolly Press and more.

There will be drinks, spinning records and general jolliness. All are welcome.

This four day holiday pop up shop (December 10-13) features unique handmade goods from local makers, artists, and crafters in a variety of categories. From ceramics, jewelry, leather goods, bath & body, kidsware, sweet treats and more, you’re sure to find something for everyone on your list.

Bring the kids and your camera and take your own santa photo. After visiting Santa, kids can take part in the craft area, while you have a chance to enjoy the shop. FREE!

OWL Bakery + Short Street Cakes Pop-up

We’re pleased to invite you to join OWL Bakery and Short Street Cakes on Sunday, December 13th for an afternoon of sweet treats and warming beverages!

OWL Bakery will be offering mulled cider and an assortment of sweet & savory nibbles to enjoy and to purchase, including cookie and cracker collections, gingerbread house kits, chocolate babka, assorted pastries, and pour-over Mountain Air coffee. Short Street Cakes will serve hot chocolate and host a gingerbread person decorating activity, with signature cakes and holiday offerings available in the shop.
